We hope our profiles help you understand who we are and our abilities to help you and your legal issue. We take pride in being personable and our clients feeling comfortable with our representation.
While our main office is located in Chesapeake, we also have a satellite office located in Norfolk. We handle cases in all of the Hampton Roads area to include Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, and Suffolk as well the Eastern Shore. On our divorce page, we review basics of divorce and a how the court might divide a couple’s property. Going through a divorce or separation can be quite the emotional and stressful time – we assure you that we will handle your case with professionalism and graciousness.
We also have a page dedicated to family law issues that affect children. If you have a child or children with your spouse and you’re thinking about a divorce, you should definitely read over that page as well. We discuss how Virginia handles child custody/visitation, child support, and termination of parental rights.
Our estate planning attorney tackles all aspects of that area of practice. This includes drafting of wills, trusts (including special needs trusts), probate, power of attorney, living will and conservatorships. Please read more about why this area of your life is so important to address with the proper legal documents.
For our criminal defense practice, we handle all misdemeanor and major felony cases. These cases include murder, rape, drug crimes, theft crimes, assault/battery, traffic tickets, and DWI/DUI. Getting arrested does not mean that you are guilty. It’s the state’s job to prove your guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Our goal and job as a defense attorney is to make their job as difficult as possible.
Our staff is like family and we value each other professionally, but more importantly personally. This point of view give us the ability to efficiently work together to give our clients the best possible outcome while being empathetic and sympathetic to each specific case. Also, this pushes our family to strive to make this process as easy for you and yours.
