Katherine D. Currin
Katherine (“Kat”) graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a BA in religious studies with highest honors in 2004 and their School of Law in 2007. She began her career as a Public Defender where she served the citizens of Chesapeake and Norfolk for 8 years. Kat is licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina and practices throughout Hampton Roads. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of criminal defense and family law to include her certification as a Guardian ad litem in the Circuit Court and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.
Kat is a member of Saint Michael Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach where she enjoys singing for the church. She also is a member of the King’s Daughters Infinity Circle (an organization that develops and hosts fundraisers to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters). Kat is an enthusiastic follower of all UNC Tarheel sports and enjoys playing music.
